Ink Jets - an Automated Bundle Identification Mechanism
If you are spending a lot of money by using different colored bottom wrap, consider the Bundle Identification that has been installed at the Springfield plant of The Washington Post. As the product being produced on each tye-line is changed, the bottom wrap text is changed as well. Non only is the product code printed, but the line identification, as well as product size is written.
If problems with tyers are detected, this identification will identify the line from which the product was produced.
Non-bulk bundles identify not only the product and size, but the name of the truck. No more guessing if the proper bundle is being delivered.
